The startlingly beautiful DA#4 was proudly made in Munich and is the offspring of a collaboration project between basketball brand K1X and custom motorcycle brand Diamond Atelier.
The two German companies teamed up to customize a BMW bike and the result took over 400 hours of meticulous work to combine both brands’ signature styles into one masterpiece.
No expense was spared during the transformation and the attention to detail is incredible with features including logos that are made out of sterling silver, a genuine diamond (in typical Diamond Atelier manner), air intakes that run through the handcrafted gas tank, and reworked cutting-edge electronics (hidden neatly away in the bike’s gas tank).
On to the tech stuff, the engine is a 1180cc 2-cylinder Boxer with an output of 115HP. The bike is fitted with hand-built headers, a GP exhaust muffler, a new intake system, a bespoke oil cooler, a reworked frame, a hand-built aluminum gas tank, a hand-stitched seat, handmade 100g sterling silver K1X logos on the gas tank, a 0.17-carat diamond in the upper triple clamp of the chassis, re-laced spoke wheels with reinforced spokes and Metzeler Racetec superslick tires.
Diamond Atelier is a custom motorcycle brand from Munich, Germany. It was established in 2013 by Tom Konecny and Pablo Steigleder. With a vision to showcase fresh ideas, unique styles, and never before seen creations, the next generation of Cafe Racers was born.
Diamond Atelier makes bikes that are dark & amp; urban, yet minimalist & a little aggressive. Their signature style has been described as, “more of a swift kick to the jaw than a breath of fresh air”. Diamond Atelier separates itself from the rest of the pack with its exquisitely handcrafted motorcycles that turn heads wherever they go!!!
